Description
Soft and fruity with juicy hints of plum, black cherry and lavender, and a tangy, fresh finish. Barbera d’Asti is one of Piedmont’s more famous, popular wines. According to regulations, Barbera d’Asti must comprise at least 85% Barbera, with the balance made up of Freisa, Grignolino and Dolcetto. Barbera is Piemonte’s most-planted variety.
Proprietor Valter Bosio: “I have four passions in my life: my family, my dog Leda, wine and hunting for truffles. Truffle hunting is a tradition in Piedmont and my dog Leda is known for unearthing these highly-prized tubers. This wine is made as a tribute to her.”
This wine is the perfect match for rich creamy dishes.
